Platform for exchange of business docments

The Liebherr company intends to process the B2B communication with their partners via EDI (Electronic Data Interchange), e.g. orders, delivery instructions, delivery notes, invoices ...

Two options of EDI are offered:

"classic" EDI based on the OFTP protocol
WEB EDI based on a web platform

All processes are defined and implemented by the Corporate E-Business Center in Kirchdorf/Iller (Germany).

By the end of 2006 all Liebherr locations will be able to send, receive and process EDI messages.

EDI contract

Before document interchange by EDI/WebEDI can be set up, an EDI questionnaire is required. The legal basis of the electronic data interchange EDI contract which can also be downloaded below as PDF document.
